Description

Intrepid birders will gather pre-dawn at Sands Lake in Salida to observe waterfowl and other birds. Join us for this new GARNA New Year tradition! Beginning birders are welcome, but space is limited and registration is required. Bring binoculars if you have them, or borrow ours if not. The Sands Lake trail may be icy, so please bring shoe traction devices if you have them. A limited number will be available for use from the Chaffee Mobile Gear Library. This event is subject to rescheduling based on weather.
